There’s a man you’ve become that’s kept you safe.
Made you successful.
Helped you survive.
But that man isn’t the one who’s going to lead your family.
Build your legacy.
Finish the race.
That man must die.
This is the work no one sees:
- The private surrender.
- The emotional burial.
- The willingness to grieve the parts of you that no longer serve the future.
The man who clings to performance will never experience peace.
The man who won’t let the mask fall will never know love.
The man who refuses to die will never truly live.
At some point, you must walk to the altar, lay the false self down, and say,
“Enough.”
That’s the beginning of resurrection.
