Most men think strength is proven by how much pain they can avoid.
But real strength is measured by how much they can hold.
Compassion is the courage to stay when leaving would be easier.
It’s the maturity to feel without fixing, to love without rescuing, and to trust that presence heals more than advice ever will.
The world doesn’t need more strong men who are silent.
It needs strong men who are safe.

I was accused by family members of being a particular way – which I am not, I am not my dad! The easy thing to do would have been to walk away but I choose to work through the pain and say NO THAT IS NOT ME! It never was. You just think that way because I didn’t marry, I had two shinning examples on why not to marry. Why didn’t I get married – What if I were like my dad and brother.
